Joining Didsbury Cricket Club in the heart of South Manchester provides the opportunity to become a member of a thriving sports and social club in which you can experience sharing our family friendly environment and avoid being treated as just another customer. While parents enjoy a quiet drink in the Members’ Bar, their children might be improving their fitness in one of the many sporting activities.
Junior members are encouraged to join one of the three sporting sections to play and improve their prowess in cricket, hockey or lacrosse. National Club Mark accreditation ensures high standards of care apply in all the sporting sections. Child protection and welfare policies are in place and are enforced. The senior sports sections of the Club welcome adult players of all ages and abilities and have in place extensive coaching and development programmes.
As a member of the Club’s social section you might enjoy the regular quizzes, or a game of darts or pool. The Club is a recognised venue for some of the best jazz nights in the area, and the monthly comedy evenings are becoming well supported. Celesta Players Drama Group uses the Club for rehearsals and occasional shows, and actively seeks new members. All new members are encouraged to take an active part in the life of the Club.
